There are several ways of transportation to discover Peru. The fastest way is by plane. The airport of Cusco (Aeropuerto Velasco Astete) is located at only ten minutes by taxi from the main square (Plaza de Armas). An often cheaper way is to go by bus. There is one main terminal (Terminal Terrestre) where the long-distance buses leave. Destinations in Peru could be Lima, Arequipa or Puna. There are also bus companies that offer trips to international destinations in Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil or Argentina.
