

This is a fantastic adventure!! You will cross one of the most astonishing Andean landscapes and see the most beautiful panoramic views of mountain chains. Furthermore, you will pass through a big variety of habitats and environments, you will see snow peaked mountains and will be in the vicinity of the tropical rainforest.
We depart at 6:00 A.M. from Cusco by car to Mollepata (Cruz Pata), where we will have breakfast. Here we will start our hike to Challacancha, where we will have lunch. Afterwards we continue our hike to Salcantaypampa (situated 3,800 meters above sea level) where we will have dinner and will overnight at the feet of the mountain Nevado Salkantay.
At 07:00 A.M. we will have breakfast. Afterwards we go to the mountainpass Salkantay to catch a sight of the Valley of Vilcabamba and of the mountain chains of Padreoc, Pumasillo, Wayracmachay (4,600 meters above sea level). Here we can spot an Inca trail that comes from Cusco and goes to Choquekirao. Then we go down to Ichupata where we will have lunch. Later on we continue to Wayracmachay, where we will overnight at the feet of the mountain Nevado Umantay (4,120 meters above sea level.). This day we walked for about 5 hours.
At 08:00 we will have breakfast. This day we continue our trek by going down to Rayampata, a very small village surrounded with beautiful nature and consisting of 4 families. Furthermore, we go to Ccollpapampa to have lunch and to visit the thermal baths. These baths have medical water, which appears, out of the ground like an iceberg. At this place you can also pay a visit to the archeological site named Platerayoc. We will stay here for the whole afternoon to relax and enjoy. After this we will go back to Ccollpapampa to have dinner and to overnight. We will walk for about 3 hours.
At 07:00 A.M. we will have breakfast and we begin our hike with direction to Playa ó Miskabamba. On this part of the trail we visit the waterfalls of Pacche. These are 11 different waterfalls, each with a height of approximately 50 meters. In Miskabamba we also will have lunch. The climate is warm in this area and a difference with other warm areas is that in this place the typical agricultural production consists of pomegranate trees. After lunch we continue to walk to Llactapata o Vaquería, an archeological Inca site that probably was a checkpoint for the payments in Machu Picchu. From here you can descry a glimpse of Machu Picchu. We will have our camp in Llactapata, which has a magical view over Machu Picchu, Huayna Picchu and Salkantay.
