High school students in Cusco showed off their talents during their performance of typical dances from the Southern area’s at the festivities of the Jubilee Month in Cusco.The several cultural activities got a lot of attention from both locals and domestic and foreign tourists. Almost 49 performer delegations marched across Cusco’s Main Square in the presence of the local authorities during the previous years.According to the chairmain of Cusco’s Municipal Company of Festivities (Emufec), Luis Huayhuaca, there will be 14 parades taking place in the streets of Cusco during the next days. The tourists are able to enjoy the traditional celebration. Many tourists wanted to take selfies and pictures with the dancing students after they were done dancing. The festivities will come to an end the 24th of June with the traditional Inti Raymi re-enactment. This re-enactment will take place at three different places in Cusco: the Coricancha temple, the Main square and finally in the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman.
