Sacred Valley of Incas to host U.S. travel show

The Sacred Valley of the Incas, located in Cusco, Peru, was the location for an episode of Epic Trails, a TV show hosted by adventurer, Eric Hanson. In his show, Hanson travels to different places to find new places, people, adventures, and culture on the most interesting trails in the world.

Peru’s Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru), the Andean country was dedicated a total of 30 minutes of the show.

On the episode, Hanson explores the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Incas' culture, archaeological sites, trails, and, of course, Peruvian gastronomy.

According to PromPeru, this kind of shows makes Peru, with its unique landscapes, look like a dream destination for locals and foreigners where you can make open-air activities with wonderful views.

PromPeru also showed that 598 685 North American tourists came to visit in 2017, what makes Peru the second largest source of visitors. The most popular activities among U.S. travelers in Peru are culture (92%), adventure (48%), and nature (58%).
